2020 Uniform Voting Tournament

It's time for our 4th annual D1 Uniform Voting Tournament! For the first time ever, you will be able to vote for your favorite college baseball uniforms on BOTH our Instagram AND Twitter pages! The school that receives the most total votes from both platforms will advance each round until a winner is crowned.

Check out the hashtag #2020UniformTournament for all posts related to the tournament.

What is the Uniform Voting Tournament?

Since 2017, we have hosted a Uniform Voting Tournament every December on our Instagram page. In this tournament, 64 Division 1 teams "compete" in a March Madness style bracket where our followers determine which team has the best uniforms in college baseball using the poll feature on our Instagram story. Starting in 2020, we are expanding to also include Twitter polls in our voting.

Last year's tournament broke 2.2 million total votes, bringing the total to over 4.1 million votes since 2018.

Schedule

The schedule for this year's voting tournament is as follows:

12/16 Round of 64 (Left Side of Bracket)

12/17 Round of 64 (Right Side of Bracket)

12/18 Round of 32 (Left Side of Bracket)

12/19 Round of 32 (Right Side of Bracket)

12/20 Sweet 16

12/21 Elite 8

12/22 Final 4

12/23 Championship

12/24 Winner Announced

How The 64 Teams Were Chosen

In a normal year, the 64 teams included in our Uniform Voting Tournament are the same 64 teams that make the NCAA Tournament in May. However, with the COVID-19 pandemic effectively cancelling the 2020 season, there is no field of 64 to use for this year's tournament. As a result, we asked our followers to nominate their favorite uniforms last month. The 64 teams that received the most nominations were included in this year's voting tournament.

Previous Winners

Vanderbilt University was crowned the favorite uniform in college baseball each of the past 3 years (2017, 2018, and 2019). This forced us to create a new rule: The previous year's winner will not be included in the next year's Uniform Voting Tournament. That means Vanderbilt will be excluded from the 2020 tournament, but will be back in December of 2021.
